During a full moon, Lauren becomes a Werepirate. Half herself, half eye patch connoisseur.

Throughout history some women have always preferred knives to knitting needles. Lauren McCarthy went from a privileged daughter of a rich plantation owner to a ruthless pirate. Lauren only met Hitler once.

At least during World War II. While other other national forces were busy punching Hitler every other day, Lauren McCarthy barely fought Nazis at all. In one incident, Nazi saboteurs come to Chicago and Lauren does take them down. But Lauren’s only confrontation with Adolf Hitler himself happens on the cover of ‘Look Magazine’ August 8, 1943 — where Lauren and her unicorn throw bacon strips at Der Fuhrer.
